Tour Overview
This cultural tour takes you across the stunning Panchoy Valley around Antigua. We begin on the south side, in San Antonio Aguas Calientes, home to a traditional textile museum and artisan market where you can purchase handmade gifts, clothes, and accessories.
We continue to Ciudad Vieja, the first capital city of Guatemala, where we visit the central plaza and the first cathedral in Central America, built in 1534.

Jade Factory – In San Pedro Las Huertas, discover the transformation of raw jade into handcrafted jewelry and souvenirs.
Chocolate Workshop – Learn how cacao beans are turned into delicious hot chocolate bars at ChocolaterĂa Antigua.
Local Bakery – Walk through town and taste traditional nĂspero bread and local nĂspero wine, made from a unique fruit native to the region.
After sampling local treats in San Juan, we cross the valley to the north side to reach Cerro de la Cruz, Antigua’s most iconic viewpoint.
